Join Bidfresh as an HGV Driver and play a vital role in delivering fresh ingredients to restaurants, pubs, hotels and catering customers across your route. You'll complete multi-drop deliveries, provide excellent service at every stop and help ensure our customers receive their orders safely, accurately and on time.
This is more than a driving role. You'll be the face of Bidfresh, building strong relationships with customers and representing our business with professionalism and pride. What you'll be doing
- Completing multi-drop deliveries to customers across your route
- Delivering fresh and multi-temperature food products safely, legally and on time
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
- Building strong relationships with customers and representing the Bidfresh brand professionally
- Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Following delivery schedules while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance
- Ensuring tachograph, driving hours and road transport regulations are followed at all times
- Making sure all deliveries are completed in line with company, health and safety and food safety standards
What we're looking for
- Full UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience as an HGV Driver, Class 2 Driver or Multi-Drop Driver is beneficial
- Experience working within a multi-temperature delivery environment is desirable
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good literacy, numeracy and basic IT skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service
