About the Role
Are you creative, ideas-driven, and obsessed with content, social media, and branding?
We’re looking for a proactive, visually-minded individual to join us at Kingfisher Brixham, in a hands-on marketing role where you’ll bring our brand to life across digital platforms.
This is a rare opportunity to take real ownership of creating content, shaping campaigns, and making a genuine impact on sales growth. If you love coming up with ideas, spotting trends, and turning them into engaging content, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Content & Social Media
- Create engaging content for social media and digital platforms
- Plan, shoot, and edit photos and videos (including product shoots and behind-the-scenes content)
- Write clear, on-brand copy for captions, websites, and marketing materials
- Bring fresh ideas to content and campaigns, testing what works and evolving our brand voice
- Stay on top of trends and identify opportunities to keep content current and engaging
- Support content creation across our wider brand, including posts and creatives for our sister site, Kingfisher Midlands
Brand & Marketing
- Support and contribute to marketing campaigns and launches
- Help shape how the brand shows up across different platforms
- Assist in creating marketing materials such as brochures, leaflets, and digital assets
- Monitor performance and learn what content drives engagement and growth
Customer & Commercial Awareness
- Gain an understanding of our customers and what drives their buying decisions
- Support the wider team with customer communications and enquiries when needed
- Work closely with sales to ensure marketing activity supports business growth
- Manage a small group of customer accounts, building relationships and understanding their needs
- Act as a key point of contact, supporting orders, queries, and day-to-day communication
- Use customer insight to inform and improve marketing activity and content
- Develop a strong understanding of what drives sales and how marketing supports it
- As your marketing experience and knowledge of the business grow, your focus will naturally shift more towards marketing, with reduced involvement in sales. This hands-on customer exposure in the early stages of the role, will give you a deeper understanding of your audience, helping you create more effective, relevant content.
Creative Projects & Internal Marketing
-
Keep the team engaged with fun, informative communications and updates
-
Update noticeboards and internal spaces with eye-catching visuals and messages
-
Help create internal campaigns, posters, and other creative materials for the depot
-
Support ad hoc creative projects that keep the workplace engaging and on-brand
