Are you looking for an exciting leadership role in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment? Direct Seafoods Colchester is seeking a dynamic and hands‑on Transport Manager to join our site leadership team and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our customers every day.

 

About the Role

As our Transport Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of our fleet of 40 vehicles operating across 4 locations. This is a highly visible and influential position where you will lead a team of dedicated drivers, manage day‑to‑day transport operations, and ensure the ongoing maintenance and compliance of our fleet through approved providers.

While our fleet is primarily vans, we also operate under an O Licence with three 7.5t vehicles, so a CPC qualification is essential.

This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role where no two days are the same. You’ll thrive in a busy environment, problem‑solve on the move, and take pride in delivering a safe, compliant and customer‑centric transport operation.
