We are looking for a dedicated Hygiene Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across equipment and production areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Clean and sanitise production equipment and workspaces in accordance to hygiene schedules.
· Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations.
· Participate in the routine cleaning of the equipment and machinery within the production facility, which will include some manual handling and lifting to ensure production equipment is thoroughly cleaned.
· Safe handling of chemicals.
· Completion of records in a timely manner.
· Work with other team members to maintain a clean and organised environment.
· Assist with the recycling process by operating recycling equipment.
Requirements
· Previous experience in a cleaning role and in a production environment is advantageous. (preferred but not essential).
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Good understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
· Attention to detail and hands on approach.
· Reliable and punctual.
