We’re Bidfresh. A fast-growing team of fresh food experts supplying national and independent B2B customers with the best ingredients - including fish and seafood, meat, produce, dairy products and ambient goods. We’re a big business with big ambitions. We succeed by focusing on the detail, by building relationships with our partners, and by supporting our teams to develop and grow.
We have an exciting opportunity for a fresh marketer to join us as Marketing Executive within our agile and fast-paced marketing team.
You’ll work closely with our sales and marketing team, managing day-to-day tasks while owning projects that build our brand awareness and drive sales. And you’ll also work closely with our Bidfresh and Bidfood stakeholders, ensuring our brands are well represented across wider business campaigns.
The role:
In this role, you’ll be required to:
- Champion the fresh food category across our 3 national brands – Campbell Brothers, Direct Seafoods and Oliver Kay – whilst also supporting our local depots and fresh sub brands.
- Collaborate with team members to curate fresh, engaging content for social media, blogs, websites, and apps across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness and audience engagement, adapting tone and style as needed.
- Manage the email schedule for each brand, working with our digital teams to create engaging email campaigns and content.
- Support the tender writing process to help secure new business opportunities.
- Prepare and organise marketing materials—brochures, leaflets, and more—by gathering relevant information and applying creative writing skills for all Bidfresh national and associated brands.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop campaigns that align with company goals.
- Produce high-quality photos and videos using mobile devices or cameras, including staging product photoshoots with props.
- Analyse marketing campaigns and report findings to support the Sales Manager in planning future promotions.
- Support with events, sales toolkits, general team support, presentation preparation and insight reviews.
The role is remote with travel expected 2 days per week, where you could be visiting suppliers, or working with the wider Marketing & Insight team. You will need access to your own vehicle and travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Key requirements:
We want someone who brings genuine passion for food and marketing, with a drive to learn and succeed in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

- Being a skilled copywriter and having fantastic attention to detail to proofread is necessary.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Having a passion for food and experience within the food industry would be advantageous.
- A marketing degree or similar qualification is desired, but relevant experience will also be considered.
