As a Factory Manager at our fish depot, you’ll be playing a pivotal role in our growth by setting the highest standards in factory efficiency. And together with the General Manager, you’ll create the plan for delivering high-volume orders of fish and shellfish. On time, on budget and always looking to exceed your KPI targets.
About the role
In this role you’ll lead by example. And by embracing our ‘Fresh’ values, you’ll set the direction and atmosphere for factory excellence. You’ll be on top of all legal, safety, quality and environmental legislation. You’ll be the first port of call for any questions or issues, but you’re rigorous approach to planning and preparation will motivate your team to deliver against your high expectations. This is a role with a wide-ranging remit, but you’re previous experience will help you be seen as the ‘go-to’ expert in all factory matters. You’ll also set a high bar for measurement and you’ll empower and support your teams to help meet them.
Skills and experience
You’ll have previous management experience within a fast-moving factory environment. And you’ll have previous experience in a food environment. Your HACCP qualification is recognition of the standards you set and you’ll blend learned skills in budget and time control, with those vital people skills that motivate and inspire your team. You can always see the bigger picture and your ability to overcome challenges and pivot towards positive resolution is balanced with your ideas and ability to plan for success. It goes without saying that your verbal and written skills are high. And most importantly, you want a role where your personal ambition is in harmony with our growth objectives.
