Manager, you'll oversee 10 diverse sites from Bonnyrigg to Brixham, ensuring
that Bidfresh's working environments are not just functional, but exceptional.
In this pivotal position, you'll
be at the heart of our operations, creating optimal spaces for our employees to
thrive and our business to excel. You'll manage a range of assets across our
portfolio, implementing industry best practices to boost efficiency and support
seamless operations.
This role is remote and requires travel to our sites nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Estate
Compliance: Lead
compliance monitoring across the regional estate, ensuring legal
obligations are met (e.g., electrical, legionella, asbestos). Maintain
up-to-date documentation and records. Conduct bi-annual building condition
audits and action findings.
- Repair
& Maintenance: Implement
and adhere to PPM plans for defined assets. Ensure repairs align with
priority structures and financial approval requirements. Report monthly on
performance KPIs.
- Supplier/Contractor
Management: Manage
contractors and suppliers per contract terms. Assist in managing national
contracts and ensure service levels are met. Collaborate with sites to
address performance issues and approve quotations.
- Stakeholder
Management: Deliver
top-tier facilities management services across Bidfresh sites. Support
site management teams during emergencies to ensure recovery and
continuity. Report on site-specific performance and recommend
improvements.
- Project
Delivery: Ensure
projects within the capital plan are delivered on time, within budget, and
to quality standards. Manage unplanned projects per business requirements
and ensure compliance with CDM regulations and H&S standards.
- Asset
Management: Maintain
the asset management system, develop Asset Replacement Programmes, and
mitigate risks. Collaborate on insurance property surveys.
- Cost
Management: Set
budgets with sites for the financial year. Advise depots on cost control
to achieve maximum value for money.
- Health
& Safety: Implement
the Company Health & Safety Policy and Risk Assessments at site level.
Provide training and supervision to ensure safe job performance.
Skills and Experience
- 5+
years’ experience in Facilities Management.
- Strong
knowledge of Hard Facilities Management and Commercial Building
Management.
- Expertise
in compliance and H&S legislation for commercial buildings.
- Experience
managing projects per CDM 2015 regulations.
- Qualification
in a building or Facilities Management discipline; NEBOSH General
Certificate preferred.
- Excellent
communication, organization, flexibility, IT skills, and willingness to
travel.
- Knowledge
of commercial refrigeration and complex electrical systems is a plus.
- Experience
managing estate maintenance in a multi-site operation.
- Valid
UK driver’s license.
